Talofa Lava My Name is Fuatino Taliaoa Petelo Leafa, I was born and bred in Samoa, and my family migrated to New Zealand in 1986. I have been working as a social worker for 23 years in Auckland before I became a senior lecturer in social work. I worked at schools and NGOs and was an active church member.
I provide cross-cultural supervision to ensure cultural differences are acknowledged, respected, and integrated into the supervisory process. This can lead to more culturally competent and sensitive practices.
