Dr Amir Sadeghi is a highly experienced educational psychologist, researcher, and bilingual assessor, specialising in diagnosing and supporting neurodiverse children and young people with learning difficulties (dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalculia, etc.), and complex learning and emotional needs.

His culturally responsive and evidence-based approach ensures equitable support for diverse learners.

With extensive expertise in learning, behaviour, and neurodevelopment, Dr Sadeghi works across educational and clinical settings, empowering students, whānau, and educators with tailored strategies to enhance learning and wellbeing. His experience includes working with learners from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds, including Māori, Pasifika, Middle Eastern, Asian, and Pākehā communities.

Beyond individual casework, he is a published researcher contributing to studies on literacy development, neurodiversity, and culturally responsive educational practices. As an accredited facilitator of parenting programmes, he also delivers professional development for parents and educators, equipping them with practical, research-driven solutions.
